Potts, Viaclovsky combine for 12 innings of shutout ball in pair of Deer wins
His last name is difficult to spell, but based on Thursday night’s performance, his pitches are more difficult to hit.
Sean Viaclovsky made his Deer Park High School varsity baseball debut a memorable one as the junior righthander weaved a three-hit, complete game shutout in leading his teammates to a 3-0 win over Klein Forest and a sweep of their David Anzaldua Memorial Baseball Tournament doubleheader at Jim Kethan Field.

Deer Park baseball will be youthful but potentially strong on mound
Since Deer Park High School’s state championship season of 2017, the baseball’s program’s swagger has looked a little torn around the edges.
That’s why it especially hurt last season when Deer Park fell from the state playoffs in the bi-district round, getting ousted by Atascocita in three games. Without a doubt, it was phenomenal that Deer Park forced the series to go the maximum of three games after losing Game 1 by a 16-0 score.
